Raúl Quintana Selleras (Cuba, 1984) has a B. A. in religious studies and a C. S. S. certificate in the study of spirituality from Florida International University. Additionally, he has a M. S. in information systems from the University of Texas at Arlington. Raúl belongs to several honor societies, such as Ronald E. McNair, TAK, ACM, PKP, GK, and DEI and he’s the recipient of the Becerro de Bengoa prize in its 29th edition. Raúl has received other accolades in the areas of essay, poetry, short story, and academic writing. He has published with the Complutense University of Madrid (Madrid, Spain), the National Office of Statistics (Camagüey, Cuba), Stoneboat Literary Journal (Wisconsin, United States), Crítica (Santiago, Chile), Relatos Sin Contrato (Andalusia, Spain), and Resonancias (Pau-Pyrénées-Atlantiques, France), among other publications.
Raúl currently resides in Little Elm, Texas with his wife, Kristina and their dog, Sparky.
